I honestly can't decide if I love or hate those shoes. But the rest is pure gorgeous!
I'm not usually a big fan of Monique Lhuillier (I know, I blaspheme) because I tend to find many of her dresses overly fussy and complicated. But this dress is so pretty and simple and silvery. The jewelry reminds me a little of what I picked in an earlier board, only much, much better—I really like blue gemstones, and I'm always drawn to oval and teardrop shaped jewelry (you saw my ring, right?). I picked the cuff because the picture of the bangles didn't look quite as clear, but the bangle with the yellow stone, I thought, would look really nice among a stack of silver bangles. I think the ballgown style dress is formal enough that an updo would be appropriate, but I'd still want to keep it loose and flowy. And I picked the rose bouquet because it has just a hint of green (my wedding color!) but is still a traditional style that would work for a formal wedding.
I'm not sure if I like the shoes. I think it's one of those things to avoid b/c it seems "unique" enough, but in time, you might end up regretting a shoe like that!
ReplyDeletePaige: I think I'm on the same page. :) I think the shoes are pretty weird.
